Great place to have dinner. The food is high quality, and the service and atmosphere are too.
Walked by on a Saturday with no reservation and the staff was so inviting we decided to give it a try. We had the mixed carpaccio as an appetizer. The octopus and beef carpaccio were amazing! For my meal I had the grilled sea bass. The waiter filleted the fish perfectly and it was fresh and delicious. We also had the lobster pasta and seafood risotto and both were great. The staff was incredibly friendly and spoke English without hesitation, which we genuinely appreciated. They accept credit cards/euro. Highly recommend!
We go to La Cantinetta either for lunch or dinner. It is always full inside, so reservation is necessary esp in summer. They also have tables outside and on the opposite building as well.

Highly recommend Italian restaurant. No matter what is the occasion - quick lunch or special event, the offering here should meet your requirements. Meat, fish, vegetarian, pizza, and desserts - everything we tried was perfect.
We visited La Cantinetta 4 years ago and today, and it still has the same (high) standard.

Great food, love the downtown area.
This place was recommended to me by my hotel. I was seated outside on a very cold night at -2C and I was never offered to be moved inside should a table become available, which they offered to other diners sitting outside. They came to take my order super quick and I didn’t even hve time to look at the menu properly. The waiter kept suggesting and asking me to order more food and I said no. I asked for tap water from another waitress. Instead of politely declined my request she was very rude and brought another waiter to talk to me. The food was so so. The fish soup was salty. The seafood risotto was nice with big portion. The food came super fast so they can hve the table for another customer. I will never go back to this place.
